We are excited to announce that one of our portfolio companies, Baja Aqua-Farms, has acquired Baja Marine Foods, a fishing and processing company that produces high-quality fishmeal, fish oil, and frozen seafood products from sustainably sourced pelagic species. This acquisition further strengthens Baja Aqua-Farms’ position as a leading vertically integrated bluefin tuna rancher.
We first invested in Baja Aqua-Farms in November 2023 and increased our investment in connection with this transaction, and look forward to continuing to support the company in its growth.
